phs10: The Carnal Line Between Noble and Savage

(Politics and the Human Spirit – Installment 10)

Maybe the best way to distinguish the “noble” from the “savage” in human nature and human affairs is to answer a simple question:

What drives the angels?

While angels, or ethereal beings, aren’t perfect in the “God” sense of the word… they’re much closer to perfection than we humans are… so close, in fact, that from our earthly point of view angels seem omnipresent and all-powerful. They seem to embody all of the nobility of God.

Our INIT group (1995-2000) learned quite a lot about ethereal beings, as information about the afterlife streamed into our computers, TVs, phones, and other research equipment from the finer realms of spirit. In some ITC contacts our spirit friends (departed humans at Timestream spirit group) told us about the ethereal beings who visited their world occasionally… coming through shimmering portals… glowing in rainbow colors. In other contacts the ethereals themselves communicated with us… sharing tremendous wisdom and depth.

This is one of The Seven ethereals working with our INIT group, as it presented itself on the TV of our Luxembourg member, Maggy Fischbach. A being much like that exists within each of us... is part of us... is superimposed over our physical body... remains invisible to our senses and sciences. Thoughts and impressions from that ethereal self, deep within, bubble up into our conscious mind. Ethereal impressions are the source of noble human behavior.

.

If I can capture some of those ethereal qualities here, in this article, then I think we’ll have a fair idea of what purely noble human behavior would look like… and the challenges we would face trying to adopt it here on Earth.

Essentially we have a savage self that’s wrapped up in our carnal body and mind… and we have a noble self… an ethereal, “god-like” self, resting deep within us. The savage self lasts a lifetime; the noble self lasts forever.

The ethereal spirit within us is the source of noble human behavior… and if we can get a clear sense of what that is, then maybe we can use that knowledge to reshape our politics… as we reshape ourselves.

Our Ethereal (Noble) Qualities

Following are some of the finer qualities of ethereal beings, as gleaned from ITC messages in the 1990s. The italicized passages are the actual words of our spirit friends (in some cases translated from German). The other passages (underlined or bulleted) are my interpretations of the spirit messages.

1 – Love completely… but appropriately to your soul purpose.  The fullness of our unlimited love is open to any soul in a way that can best be accepted by that soul. (The Seven ethereals)

  • Learn your soul purpose, through meditation and inner reflection… (not an easy feat!… but a wondrous journey…) and love accordingly.

2 – Acknowledge others without judgmentChildren of Earth, people of Terra! Often, when we come to take you home at the end of your earthly lives, we notice that you are in great haste. Like someone who unexpectedly has guests coming, you dash to and fro and try to get some order in the chambers of your spirit and your heart. You quickly get things out of the way which you left lying around carelessly for a long time. You hide other things under the furniture and the carpet because you are ashamed that you neglected them. Dear people! We come only to greet you, not to judge you. The pupil is not being judged after an hour of testing, but only after his entire period of learning.  (The Seven ethereals)

  • Don’t be too hard on others… nor on yourself; we’re all doing the best we can.

3 – Strive for peace on Earth… but know the limitations of being carnal in a material worldMeat-eating man really gets in his own way. Man cannot live in the natural environment without using force. It has become part of your world and you cannot ignore it. Even peace, as far as you have it, only exists to the extent that you limit force in solving your conflicts. The same is true of peace with nature and the animal life. (The Seven ethereals)

  • Our dreams of peace can go only so far on Earth.

4 – Envision and manifest unityWe think that an emerging human vision should be the measure of things. We do not share the anxiety some of you have of a larger-scale cooperation which would be fostered by an ultimate umbrella organization. There certainly can be no argument about governing or serving this kind of cooperation. Circulating the idea (from us and from you) that it is presently “too early” to set up a stable field, can be the very obstacle that will prevent this field. Everybody is responsible for what he/she sows and reaps. These thoughts have been presented to you several times. Unfortunately they have not been understood by everyone here and on your side. I have already asked you once: What holds you back from setting up such an organization? To this date, we have not been given an instructive and informative answer. Let us say again that fear has always been a bad advocate. (The Seven ethereals, speaking of an umbrella ITC organization… but it could be broadened in reference to an authorized United Nations, an umbrella world government)

  • The “stable field” mentioned here consists of resonant thoughts and expectations of everyone involved in a project… and it shapes the living reality that bridges various realms. For a world government to receive direct help from ethereal realms (a very definite possibility!) a stable field will be necessary.

5 – Understand morality and live morally.  We, The Seven, have decided to help and support the way chosen by you in INIT. It is the way of morals, which means to understand, to acknowledge, to devise, and to act. (The Seven ethereals)

  • Understand the information received by the conscious mind from ethereal realms (including from the higher self), acknowledge it, adjust it to fit the world at this time, and act accordingly. Morality.

6 – Avoid fear and envy, which lead to darkness and destructionIt is easy to forget that you are still on the physical side of the veil and have your daily battles with all the shortcomings of physical life. We notice how under the weight of a stone all kinds of repulsive worms and vermin accumulate. So it is under the weight of fear and envy that hate and thoughts of destruction come forth. Do not think that you only have to awaken what is humane and dignified in a person to make them walk the way of the light. (The Seven ethereals)

  • Live on Earth, as best we can, in the light of love, understanding, and acceptance.

7 – Stand against tyranny, protect the peopleShall we leave doors open (to human corruption)… or shall we close them?… Our decision: Protect the citizens. (The Seven ethereals)

  • This is an excerpt of a message delivered, I believe, by The Seven ethereals during a rare, direct intervention into recent election fraud that would have turned a dark tide on Earth. ”Rare,” to say the least! I have not heard directly from The Seven since the breakup of our ITC group (INIT) around the year 2000… and I wondered (in my gloomier moments) if maybe they’d given up on ITC and maybe even on humanity. (If an international research panel of spiritually motivated men and women with the best of intentions couldn’t get along for more than four or five years, what chances were there for humanity?!) When I heard through the web that someone had stymied the latest efforts to steal yet another US election, I was captivated. I’d been watching the stealing of US elections since the year 2000, and there were moments when I myself had nearly lost all hope in humanity as I watched the devastating, shock-and-awe repercussions unleashed by the illegitimate Bush administration. When I finally tracked down the actual letter from “the protectors of democracy” who claimed responsibility for thwarting the latest effort at a stolen election, I got chills on my spine, the hair on the back of my neck bristled, and my jaw dropped. The depth, the wisdom, and the perfect metaphors in the letter were intimately characteristic of The Seven as I’d gotten to know them in the 1990s… and today, two months after the 2012 election fraud incident, I firmly believe it was The Seven who saved the day. It would take some mighty solid proof to convince me otherwise… to persuade me that someone on Earth had circumvented the fraud and composed the letter. I’d need the names of the “cyber sleuths,” their technical and literary background, the techniques they used, and so on. Until then, I’m comfortable “knowing” it was a job requiring herculean talents, and that The Seven stepped in to help humanity at a crucial moment in our history. (Read more about the election-fraud incident and see the complete letter…)

8 – Help those in need… with tact and discretionWe accompany the lonely and grieving. We lie next to the sick and we ease the burden of the suffering. We love human beings, but people sometimes expect this love to give them something which we cannot give because you are unable or unprepared to receive it. We do understand your desperation and your skepticism, your doubt and your anger. We know you are only on a journey. Once you get back to us, you will feel like the child who sits smiling and secure on its mother’s lap. (The Seven ethereals)

  • Those in need don’t always know what they need. Those wishing to help don’t always know how to help. We can only do the best we can… learn from expert sources such as the 12-Step Program… and live with knowledge that a more tranquil and true reality awaits us once we leave Earth’s carnal illusions behind.

9 – Advise, don’t dictateWe only give you advice. We would never command you or insist on a particular action. (The Seven ethereals)

  • Our savage side may need to be closely managed by ourselves and by society, but our noble side flourishes in freedom.

10 – Discern the information to bring into this worldWe seek council with the higher beings to determine the information to send to Earth. (Timestream spirit group)

  • As wide-ranging information streams into our conscious minds from diverse spiritual worlds, it’s up to us to determine what information is or is not suitable to act on… what information would help or hurt the world around us.

11 – Know the human purposeWe whom you call Rainbow People have often given you the real purpose of ITC contacts: Mankind at the end time should be led back to the principle. Light and darkness shall unite and form a whole again. What people experience now is not the actual beginning of the apocalypse, but only the first symptoms of it. Before opposites can be united, the strength of unity among ITC people must increase and come from a pure heart. (The Seven ethereals)

  • Carnal life is a strange dichotomy of light and darkness. We’re noble creatures at our core with savage inclinations near the surface… and as the end approaches (not just our personal end-of-life but also the end of an epoch), it’s time to pull the loose ends together into the complete human package as we prepare for the next adventure.

12 – Know the human heritageIn reality, the legends of the Fall of Man are based on a factual incident: the downfall of the civilization you often call Atlantis (also known by other names). This downfall was brought about by the descendants of the last inhabitants of Marduk (Eden) who became marooned on planet Terra. This downfall came through reliance and blind trust in a massive technology. (The Seven ethereals)

  • The Seven ethereals shared some world-changing information with our INIT group over the years… information pertaining to our ancient heritage.

13 – Be aware of many spiritual levelsSome of us regard the Ethereals as great souls or creators. They live on our plane and yet are really not among us. They can ascend to higher planes and again “bend down” to our level. (Timestream spirit group)

  • For all of the many levels of spiritual existence there are corresponding spiritual levels within us. We are, after all, a microcosm of God’s totality. Through spiritual practice we can train the carnal self to be more receptive to our ethereal self.

14 – Sustain a rapport between the carnal and ethereal worldsThis is the seventh time that we accompany and guide you on your progress toward a free, wealthy and sane future in which humanity would have stripped off the chains of intolerance and cruelty. A future in which it will be able to establish fruitful, endurable relationships with the Light, ethereal realms of existence. (The Seven ethereals)

  • As we develop our personal rapport with our ethereal self, humanity can also foster a rapport with the brilliant beings in ethereal realms. That could be done through ITC.

15 – Know God as the absolute realityMany Earth people mistakenly perceive God as a person or an individual entity. God is not a person but the highest principle of life, as well as the absolute reality. (The Seven ethereals)

  • To consider God a mere myth is the grandest, most perverse human illusion… one that is easy to fall into during a carnal lifetime.

16 – Tap into unlimited power, wisdom, and goodnessThe Ethereals’ power is almost unlimited and so is their wisdom and goodness. Their entire being is illuminated by understanding and forgiveness. It is impossible to describe the good feeling that overcomes the person who faces them and can speak to them… (Timestream spirit group)

  • The dazzling and delightful sensations can be almost overwhelming as we begin to build a bridge between our carnal and ethereal minds… for example through practiced heart meditations.

17 – Anticipate an afterlife adventureEvery being is a unity of spirit and body that cannot be separated on earth or in spirit. The only difference is the fact that the physical body disintegrates and in its place comes the astral body. Our message is to tell you that your life goes on. Any speculations on how an individual will experience it are bound to be limited in validity. All your scientific, medical or biological speculations miss the mark of these realities. What serves as “real” to science is not close to reality in the broad picture. It is no more than a word in a book.

(The Seven Ethereals Timestream Spirit Group: the spirit of Friedrich Juergenson)

  • Spiritual reality is too vast and diverse to be comprehended by the carnal mind… trapped as it is in an illusory, short-lived existence. So… be ready for the ultimate adventure that we call afterlife. Prepare for it with noble choices… savor the possibilities… but don’t get bogged down in detailed expectations.

.

Someday humanity will probably abandon its old-fashioned, bipolar beliefs in good and evil, God and Satan, heaven and hell… and replace them with a more rational understanding of our noble-savage nature.

That understanding will help reshape politics and economics and all manner of human endeavor… and it will help prepare us for incomprehensible adventures that await us as human beings and as a human species.

It will involve a committed effort to embrace our noble heritage and to face the difficult task of coming to terms with our savage inclinations.

It will be a crucial time for humanity… like an alcoholic’s first month of sobriety….

And that time might be upon us.

If I’m right about #7 above…

the writing is on the wall.

(Politics and the Human Spirit – Installment 11)

The previous article reflected on how the rough edge of our carnal self (our savage side) might be softened and polished by the divine spark, or ethereal self, shining deep within us (our noble side).

The more work we do within ourselves to nurture our ethereal self (for example, heart meditation and prayer), the more polishing gets done on the outside.

So let’s consider how our noble-savage nature boils over into our nested groups and affects the management of human affairs…

  • individuals in families and friendships and schools…
  • families within neighborhoods and religious congregations…
  • neighborhoods within communities…
  • communities and businesses within states, provinces, or cantons…
  • within nations…
  • all within the human species.

Most of us want to feel safe and secure in our groups, but we know from experience that they’re imperfect. A human group is like a big, lumbering person with all of the collective noble-savage qualities of its members… so the group doesn’t always work in the best interests of its members.

So we never fully trust the groups we belong to.

  • Kids like to feel safe in the bosom of the family but rebel against family-imposed chores and curfews that seem unreasonable.
  • Patriots rally around the flag but complain about intrusive government and taxes.
  • Businesses and industries utilize the nation’s infrastructure (like the sprawling web of transportation and communication networks) while bristling against the taxation and regulation that help keep it peaceful, orderly, and vital.

At all levels of society, fickle humans and fickle groups make management a big challenge.

In the personality of every group, along with the trust… there’s cynicism. With the kindness… malice. With the wisdom… superstition and delusion. With the love… fear and hate. With the generosity… greed. With the self-esteem… shame. With the humility… conceit.

Such is the dual nature of any human group, whether it’s an army or a religion… whether a family or a corporation… whether a football team or a meditation group. Humanity is a mixed bag.

Granted, some groups by definition lean more toward the noble and others more toward the savage, but whenever humans are involved there’s always a blending of the carnal and the divine. It goes with the human turf.

When we think about all the decision-making that goes on within all the groups at all the levels of human society, it’s mind-boggling to try to come up with principles of peace and well-being and good management that would apply in every situation.

I can think of only one:

When we acknowledge our divine core as the only reality, and our worldly problems and suffering and preoccupations as illusion, then our noble side shines through more brightly and enlightens human society. We find greater peace within us as peace spreads around us. The savage side begins to retreat.

So, if there’s one political panacea that can be spread through human society like a healing salve, that’s it:

Embrace the divine!

phs12: Who Decides What?

$

(Politics and the Human Spirit – Installment 12)

Continuing the discussion from Part 9 (Managing the World in the 21st Century), perhaps the most important question of our time is:

Who, at what level of society, should decide what?

Before addressing that, let’s reiterate the main point made in the last two articles (Part 10 and Part 11): The noble side of human nature (that finer spirit within us), inspired by trust and good will, needs little regulation… while our savage side (our carnal disposition) is driven largely by fear and self-interest, causing conflicts and chaos in human affairs that need to be minimized and resolved with regulation ranging from self-control to international standards, laws and law enforcement. That said…

There are two principles that might help answer the question above:

  • Every decision should be made at the lowest possible level, but high enough to take into account the well-being of everyone affected by the decision.
  • Every individual and every group should be free to make decisions… within the framework that’s been set up by higher levels.

We need to start looking beyond the simplistic, aggravating view of federal rights vs state rights vs human rights… to replace that old-fashioned notion with a more realistic view of overlapping, nested chains of management levels throughout human society—from individual to family to community to city to province to nation to world… massive national systems overlapping with massive religions overlapping with massive international corporations… all embedded within and sprinkled throughout the global ecosystem.

That more realistic snapshot of humanity, coupled with the two principles above, can provide a much more stable base for the management of human affairs. A few examples:

A new airport. Building an international airport involves a worldwide transportation network. There are travelers, mail carriers, and airline companies throughout the world who will be affected by the decisions about a new airport, so an international or world-level regulatory body—in this case the UN agency ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization)—has to be involved in the planning, development and operation of airports to ensure safe, orderly growth of the worldwide air travel network.

At the same time, all of the nearby home-owners and businesses will be impacted by the noise, so some neighborhood decision-making authority also needs to be taken into account.

Levels between global and neighborhood also come into play. Various ground transportation networks (bus lines, trains, subways, highways…) may want to link up with the new airport to move travelers to and from other destinations.

Within the framework of ICAO standards and recommendations, the various city and county governments and local and national aviation agencies provide funding and management for each airport.

So a new airport needs decisions to be made at various levels. National aviation agencies like the FAA make decisions within the framework set up by the world-level ICAO. State, provincial, and city government agencies make decisions within the framework established by those higher-level bodies. Airlines and other transportation companies and networks, in turn, make decisions within those established frameworks. Also taken into account is the well-being of the local residents and the environment (for example, ISO-14001).

That’s one example that shows those two principles in action: decisions are made at many levels to take into account the needs of everyone affected by the decisions, and decisions at each level are made within the framework established by the higher levels.

Another example:

Wi-Fi and cellphones. I can grab my cellphone here in Colorado and call someone driving along the Autobahn in Germany. A century ago that would have seemed like a miracle, but today we take global communication technologies for granted.

Here’s how it happens.

The ITU is a UN agency that makes sure telecommunications and cell phone technologies evolve smoothly everywhere in the world by…

  • standardizing equipment and systems worldwide,
  • managing wireless frequencies worldwide in a fair way, and
  • helping poor countries to develop telecommunication infrastructures.

If you take a moment to appreciate your cell phone and its capabilities, you can understand why the ITU is a great example of how world government could and should work. Its purpose is to keep things peaceful and orderly by providing a compatible umbrella for all of the businesses, nations, and telephone users in the world… working hard to make sure even the poorest of the poor have access to the global network.

What self-interested business or nation is going to do that charitably for the entire world, with no strings attached? None.

Only a world body like the ITU can be committed to the good of the world.

Certainly there are and will always be challenges. In the 1980s, when twisted copper wires and circuit switching were still the worldwide norm in telephone networks, the ITU developed the “ISDN” standard (Integrated Services Digital Network) to make the worldwide telephone network more efficient in carrying voice, video, and data than anyone had ever dreamed possible. A fantastic revolution was underway!

But… at the same time, fiberoptics, packet-switching technologies, and radical new protocols like TCP/IP were being developed, which would eventually replace the copper network with a far cheaper, far more efficient network of fiberoptic lines. The ISDN standard would soon become outdated, as voice, video, and data could stream through the Internet, bypassing the traditional copper-wire network entirely.

Read more about circuit- and packet-switching…

The ITU’s ISDN standard is still used in telecommunication networks in many parts of the world… while elsewhere it’s considered an archaic standard nicknamed “It Still Does Nothing.” The ITU had to adjust accordingly. They now manage most of the standards for packet-switching and fiberoptics as well as the more archaic standards.

What we can learn from that important story, while forging a world government, is to develop the best standards possible to ensure worldwide compatibility in all facets of human affairs. Implement the standards… but be ready to adjust them—even to replace them—when something better comes along.

In other words, standards developed by a world government would have to remain flexible to accommodate a diverse and changing world. Even if they are only recommended, not compulsory, they will quickly become the norm.

The main purpose of a world government (transformed from the current UN), in my view, would be to establish a global umbrella of very basic, somewhat flexible standards across a wide range of human affairs—telecommunications, politics, social mores, economics, entertainment, sports, industry, and so on.

The standards would be simple enough so that any particular nation, religion, industry, or other human group could customize and expand upon the basic world standards to develop a unique set of standards suitable to the “personality” of that group. The adjustments would usually be done within the framework of the higher-level standards… but in some cases the new techniques and technologies might be so radical that they ignore the existing standard (such as the ISDN) altogether… and if the new way is a significant improvement, then they become part of the standards adopted by the higher level group.

Such a nested set of standards would ensure a high degree of compatibility (thus ensuring world peace) and also enough flexibility to encourage worldwide diversity of culture, nationality, religious belief, and business model.

The Internet. The Internet is an even more transformational technology than cellphones— placing all the world’s knowledge at the fingertips of every online computer user in the world… but there’s a problem.

While telecommunications standards are handled by a world body (the ITU), the Internet is controlled by various independent groups, mostly here in the States… and there’s currently a hot debate about that.

Read more about Internet governance…

In a nutshell, here’s what’s happening:

The US wants to keep the Internet running as it is today—making total information available to everyone… regulated by groups in the US, where most of the funding and development of Internet technologies have taken place.

Some countries want to tailor the content of the Internet so that it’s more suitable for their citizens. Some Middle Eastern countries, for example, might like to screen out porn, material related to alcohol and drugs, and other subject matter deemed unsuitable for Muslims.

Russia and China also would like some control over information streaming in and out of their societies… for example, by regulating unsolicited bulk email, or “spam.”

In the past few months there’s been a cold war brewing between the free-wheeling US and the more controlled societies. Essentially, the ITU wants to provide the type of sensible, world-class regulation to the Internet that it’s done for Wi-Fi… but the US is reluctant to relinquish the reins.

Read more about the heated Internet debate… US against the world…

This situation would be easily resolved if Internet control were relinquished to a world government as described above, in which the UN’s umbrella standards would be very basic, dealing mostly with technical details to ensure worldwide compatibility.

Each nation or other large group could then tailor the informational content streaming in and out of its domain, so as not to destabilize or offend the society and its sensibilities.

It would be nice if the US would graciously turn over the Internet reins to a world body like the ITU that has the best interests of the world at heart… and if all of the major international standards bodies would come under the umbrella of a United Nations that’s been empowered to be a world government.

We’re moving in that direction, but we’re not quite there. Case in point, the WSC (World Standard Cooperation organization), which was formed in 2001 from the close association of three prominent standards bodies: ITU, ISO, and IEC. Here’s their motto:

“IEC, ISO and ITU believe that international standards are an instrument enabling the development of a harmonized, stable and globally recognized framework for the dissemination and use of technologies, best practices and agreements, which support the overall growth of the Information Society. Indeed, their transparent and consensual mechanisms, based on the possible contribution of all interested stakeholders, as well as their extensive network of national members, represent strong assets for market relevance and acceptance, as well as for more equitable development.”

Of the three groups of the WSC, only ITU is under the UN umbrella. It would make sense for the IEC and ISO to come under the umbrella as well… and that will probably happen once the UN is allowed to become a legitimate world government.

Ultimately, all of the international standards bodies should be pulled under the umbrella of a world government… a restructured, empowered United Nations.

Conclusion

Hopefully that gives a general idea of how human society is managed today, struggling to sustain an uneasy peace in a quickly evolving world… and how an empowered United Nations with a growing set of stable standards will be the key to a more peaceful, more vital planet.

One important point in closing:

The standards should focus on promoting the noble, ethereal qualities of human nature and discouraging the savage, carnal qualities. That’s something that’s not been emphasized directly up to now.

Great Movie!

I’ve been fretting for two weeks over the next installment, which was to explore what activities are best regulated at what levels of society… personal, family, community, province, nation… and I’ve suddenly figured out why it’s been such a struggle.  It’s…

Bo – - – - – ring.

Not only is it boring, but it’s inconsequential in the bigger picture of things.

How did I reach that epiphany?

Well, I just finished watching what I’m comfortable in saying is the best movie ever made (imho), and it’s put things into perspective for me. It’s moved my focus away from politics for a moment, and back to the things that really matter.

The film is compelling… moving… deep… it portrays life and death more accurately than any other film I’ve ever seen… it left me inspired and charged to face life on Earth from the most rewarding, most gratifying, and most pleasurable attitude possible… and it’s a movie that few people (outside of Brazil) have ever heard about.

It’s called “Nosso Lar.”

Years ago I read a book by the same name: Nosso Lar… which is Portuguese for “Our Home.” The movie is adapted from the book.

I’ve spent the past twenty years researching the afterlife with a discerning eye, that book was one of the best things I encountered, and now this movie takes the magic of the book and gives it drama, heart, and soul… not to mention breathtaking special effects!

The movie lasts nearly two hours and is (actually, WAS) free on youtube.  (I learned from my friend John Day today [Feb13]  that it’s been removed from youtube. Apparently the film distributor wanted it removed.)

You can purchase the English (subtitled) version, which has been retitled…

Astral City

You can order it on Amazon.com…

You can view the trailer on youtube…

This is where the movie was showing freely on youtube for a short time:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HioRp77YGuo

In any case, the movie inspired me to write a more suitable, more enjoyable article that will close out the “Politics and the Human Spirit” series… which I hope to finish up next week. The movie certainly sets the stage for the article I envision.

Thanks to my Aussie colleague Victor Zammit, who included the link in his much-read, much-appreciated Friday Afterlife Report this week.

Reflections on “Nosso Lar”… 1) the Dichotomy

I’m going to write a series of articles about the movie Nosso Lar that was subject of my last article. I’d like to explore in more detail some of the movie’s many vital truths, and a few items that may need some clarification, starting with the overall structure of the spirit worlds as depicted in the movie.

(I still plan to write a closing article for the politics series, but this one seems a bit more important, and maybe more urgent.)

The stark dichotomy portrayed in the movie—the dark, hellish place and the light paradise place—shows just a glimpse of a tiny portion of the spirit worlds that involve humanity… and it could be troubling and frightening to many people who view the movie… that when they die they’ll end up either in paradise or sludgeland. Doesn’t leave many options.

In reality it’s a lot more complicated than that. I know from my research and personal experiences (especially my many memorable, often strange dreams) that between the dark, hellish worlds and the bright and beautiful paradise worlds there are many worlds in shades of gray and subdued colors… worlds or communities much like the Earth communities where people’s emotional imbalances are rampant but fairly harmless. Most people in these mid-level astral worlds live in homes with joys and sorrows… clarity and confusion similar to what we have here on Earth. They haven’t found the inner peace and bliss of “Nosso Lar,” nor are they trapped in misery. I’ve visited many such communities in my dreams.

Spirit bodies are free of injury and disease, just as they are in paradise… although they can become a little decrepit looking from the confusion, anxieties, and fears of the people inhabiting those grayish realms. People in those grayish realms just don’t look as happy and at peace as they do in the paradise worlds. Nor are they as tortured and lost as they are in those dark, dismal places depicted in the Nosso Lar movie.

Sometimes I feel welcome during my visits to those mid-level regions, and sometimes people are a little wary of my presence, aware than I’m just passing through from an Earth-dream… and therefore liable to be a little unpredictable in my thoughts and actions.

I’ve visited those realms often in my dreams… suggesting to me that my service work once I cross over may have something to do with helping out in those places. That’s certainly not the afterlife I’d choose for myself—I’d much rather move far away from the troubles of Earth into brilliant realms of light—but I doubt if I’ll be so lucky. I think those brilliant afterlife getaways are earmarked for the gentle souls whose lifetimes have spread a lot of love and gratitude and generosity around society without causing very many problems by harboring fears and animosities and jealousies and lusts toward other people.

Looking over my lifetime, I’ve been a decent guy as a rule, but I’ve also harbored unsettling emotions toward various types of people who annoy me or frighten me or arouse me sexually or, most of all, outrage me. It’s those emotions that’ll probably keep me caught up in the cycle of earthly living for awhile.

I will probably … hopefully… settle into a paradise setting after I die, but I’ll have to do some kind of service work to help compensate for the troubles I inadvertently stirred up on Earth during this lifetime. I may have to reincarnate again to see if I can live a cleaner, gentler life next go-around. I definitely don’t want to go through any more lifetimes on Earth… not consciously… but maybe at some spiritual level I’ll see the need after I’ve gotten settled in on the other side.

Anyway, this is all speculation, and, as our spirit friends at Timestream told us on various occasions in various ways, any expectations we have about our own personal afterlife destiny are bound to fall far short of reality.

So I’ll take this opportunity to explain, according to what I’ve learned from my research, how the two Nosso Lar realms probably fit into the bigger picture of spiritual reality.

This is what I know to be true, based on ITC messages from The Seven ethereals: There was once a physical world Marduk (Eden) that was destroyed long, long ago by super technologies of its superhuman inhabitants. We on Earth are descended from those superhumans. Hence the ancient religious stories that we came from Eden. There is also a spirit-world Marduk (Eden) where many people on Earth awaken after they die. Hence the religious afterlife stories about heaven and hell and purgatory.

I also know from my research that many material things have spiritual templates, and those templates exist in spiritual realms that are templates of the material realm we live in. Our physical bodies have spirit-body templates that flourish in spiritual realms. Rocks, trees, and buildings in this earthly realm also have spiritual templates that exist in spirit realms. Entire planets have spiritual templates… which is why the spirit world Marduk (Eden) continues to exist since the destruction of the physical planet.

Our material planet Earth also has spiritual templates that exist in spirit realms, superimposed over the physical world… and those, I believe, are what the Nosso Lar movie is trying to depict. I’m sure there are dark, sludgy places among the earth templates that are similar to the one shown in the movie. But there also a lot of the earth-like spirit communities I described above… grayish with subdued colors… not real heavenly and not real hellish… and these mid-level communities were not shown in the movie.

Most intriguing to me is the idea of paradise outposts scattered here and there around the Earth, in subtle realms superimposed over our physical realm… like the actual Nosso Lar  community which was the subject of the movie.

It makes sense to me that such paradise outposts would be maintained and protected by ethereal beings who are involved in a project to help lift humanity out of its darkness. It makes sense that many people arrive in those outposts after they die, and they find it their calling to do mission work into the darkest places to help “redeem” those lost souls who are ready to find the light… all of which is portrayed beautifully in the movie

I’m just saying… Nosso Lar is a wonderful, beautiful movie… but it just shows a small part of the bigger picture… and it’s that bigger picture that I hope to start piecing together with this new series of articles based on the movie.

Stay tuned….

ITC Pioneer Hans Heckmann Goes Home… to Paradise

I was lucky to enjoy a seven-year friendship and collaboration with Hans Heckmann. With the guidance and support of Metascience founder George Meek, Hans and I got immersed in the miraculous ITC research underway in Europe in the 1990s. All three of us received phone calls from the late Konstantin Raudive, the famous EVP pioneer who had died in 1974… and we were present on various occasions when Raudive and his spirit friends of Timestream delivered messages and images through radios, TVs, computers, and other equipment of European researchers, especially Maggy Fischbach of Luxembourg.

Hans died quietly a couple of days ago (Friday, 2013 February 15), a month before his 89th birthday.

Hans had been a German soldier during World War II, when he met and fell in love with an American nurse stationed in Europe. After the war they got married and settled in Pennsylvania. Hans would play a crucial role in world ITC in the coming years, doing much of the engineering on George’s spirit communication systems developed throughout the 1980s.

HansHeckmann

Hans as a German Army recruit

In the 1990s, the most spectacular reports of researchers in Europe were being published in German, and Hans would soon begin translating them with tremendous care and clarity into English, and in so doing would be instrumental in the spread of ITC knowledge to the Americas.

In 1992 George arranged a research trip for Hans and me. We flew to Europe to meet most of the main ITC researchers at a conference in Dusseldorf… and afterward drove through Germany and Luxembourg to visit researchers in their homes and labs.

On May 4, as we entered the Cercle d’Etudes sur la Transcommunication – Luxembourg (CETL) lab in downtown Luxembourg we were greeted by a text message on a computer screen that had been received the previous day:

STATION FEEDBACK. GROUP OF SCIENTISTS. THIS IS HENRI SAINTE CLAIRE DEVILLE. UNFORTUNATELY, IT WAS NOT POSSIBLE TO JOIN COMMON EFFORTS OF (spirit groups) TIMESTREAM AND CENTRAL TO MAKE SUCCESSFUL CONTACT ON SATURDAY. PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE THIS ADDRESS. IT IS MERELY A PROBLEM OF ENERGY AND FREQUENCY. YOU WILL HAVE TO CHANGE A SMALL PART OF YOUR DEVICE. WE WILL KEEP YOU INFORMED OF THE APPARATUS NEEDED.

MY SPECIAL GREETINGS TO HANS HECKMANN AND MARK MACY.

I LEFT PROJECT LIFELINE A FEW YEARS AGO AND AM NOW A MEMBER OF THIS NEW GROUP OF SCIENTISTS. WE ARE WORKING UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MARIE CURIE. GIVE OUR GREETINGS TO GEORGE (Meek). MAY 3, 1992.

Hans and I also visited with experimenter Friedrich Malkhoff at his home in Schweich, Germany… who shared with us the results of various German ITC researchers, including Adolf Homes and Hans-Otto Koenig.

HansFritz-DocMueller1

I took this picture of Hans (left) taking a picture of a TV transcontact during our trip to Europe. It’s an image of Doc Mueller (the spirit who had spoken through the Spiricom device of George Meek and Bill O’Neil, circa 1980, but who now was resonant with German researcher Adolf Homes, who had captured this image on his TV set). Homes’ colleague Fritz Malkhoff is in the yellow shirt, sharing the picture with us at his home in Schweich.

Read Hans’s trip report here, starting on p18.

A couple of years later I was again visiting the Luxembourg researchers when Konstantin Raudive delivered a long message through the radio sounds, in which the Timestream spirit group acknowledged Hans for his good work in ITC.

Listen to an excerpt of that radio contact while reading the following transcript:

Finally, last but not least, Mark Macy. My dear friend, we bring our greetings to Colleague Meek and the Uphoffs. Also to Hans Heckmann with whom he realizes a beautiful job to spread ITC information. You know by experience, Mark, how dangerous drugs of all kinds can be. Try to warn humanity that they not only alter their present lives on your side, but also influence in a negative way their future lives. Go on with your experiences and you will see that the bridge to the States will soon be strengthened. Regina as your twin soul can help you a lot. Listen to her inner voice and you will be in the right way.

Hans’s background (adapted from a Carlson Center bio given to me by his granddaughter Tanya Dapkey). Hans Josef Heckmann was born an only child in Heidelberg, Germany, on March 26, 1924. He enjoyed swimming in the Neckar River, hiking in the Black Forest, and dropping by the grocery store owned by his grandparents, who always gave him a treat.

At age 14 he joined the compulsory Hitler Youth Movement, and was later drafted into the German army during World War II. He was seriously wounded and captured at the Russian front, and spent two years in a prison camp.

After the war, the US government hired Hans as a teletype operator in Heidelberg, where he met his wife, Rita, a US Army nurse. Hans was studying English, Rita was learning German, and their language teacher arranged for them to meet. They married in Heidelberg in September, 1950, and honeymooned in Austria.

They settled in Philadelphia, had four daughters, and moved to East Lansdowne in 1959. Hans became a naturalized US citizen and took a job as a professional studio photographer. Then he worked until retirement as a teletype operator on the Pennsylvania Railroad, which later became Conrail.

His pastimes included photography, electronics, and listening to classical music. In his later years, he was drawn to spiritual research and translated German documents into English for various afterlife projects.

- – - -

It was during those later years when his path crossed with mine, and we became immersed together in ITC research… which is slowly changing the world in a most wonderful way… as indicated by the rich archives of ITC Gems published on this site… most of which were translated carefully from German by my trusted friend and dedicated colleague Hans Heckmann.

(Politics and the Human Spirit – Installment 13)

You may have noticed that here in the USA there have been no wars between the states since 1865, when the Civil War came to an end and locked us firmly into a Union. There’s still plenty of bickering among states… and grumpy little groups threaten to secede from time to time… (dissatisfaction is part of the noble-savage character) but we no longer go to war over states’ rights. A strong federal government provides a reasonably stable umbrella of apprehensive peace among us Americans.

A lasting peace of this kind—semi-stable, semi-strained—is about the best we can ever hope to achieve as carnal humans here on Earth… given our egos, our hormones, and our fight-or-flight neurochemistries.

Our steadfast soul shines brightly at the center of our being, working nonstop… anchoring us solidly in love and good will. But our physical body is hard-wired for fear, suspicion, and conflict… and yanks endlessly at the anchor chain like an angry dog.

Because of the noble-savage battle raging endlessly inside us, a “shocks-n-springs” sort of peace is about the best that any “peaceful” nation can hope to sustain.

Our noble-savage human nature is like the shocks-and-springs assemblies on modern cars and motorcycles. The springs let the vehicle bounce over rough roads without getting jostled to pieces, while the shock absorbers keep the vehicle from springing out of control. Our savage concoctions of hormones and fists and weapons help us survive the rough rides of Planet Earth (like springs), and our noble side—the finer spirit within—keeps us from churning out of control (like shock absorbers).

That same sort of “shocks-n-springs” peace that sustains itself in peaceful modern nations… will not prevail worldwide… among all nations and races and religions and multinational corporations… until humanity has forged a union of mankind under the umbrella of a strong world government… probably an empowered United Nations.

Once Planet Earth has an umbrella of a stable world government… only then will humanity achieve any measure of world peace. Only then will wars among nations become a thing of the past.

Meanwhile, there are things we can do in the short term (measured in years and decades) to keep world society from springing out of control… and there are things we can do in the long term to make life on Earth a smoother ride… to make the world and human beings safer and more peaceful… as we guide our evolution toward a paradise destiny.

Short-Term Solutions

This Politics and the Human Spirit series has explored a few of the things we can do in the short term to make the world a safer, happier place:

The Most Critical Situation Today

I’d like to add one item to the list… a critical situation that could darken the fate of the United States in the near future… which could then shift the world onto a more savage course.

There’s a small but powerful, wealthy, and egocentric contingent here in the States associated with the Koch brothers, Karl Rove, and Fox News… who seem to want  political power at any cost. The groups involved seem to be motivated largely by fear, mistrust, misinformation, and xenophobia… obsessing over a strong military, gun ownership, immigration policy, and other paranoia-related issues.

To manifest their savage agenda, a network of fraud-prone, computerized voting machines has been put in place in several key states to flip national elections in favor of the conspirators. Those cheat-easy voting machines brought the Bush Administration into power, leading to the current upheaval in the Middle East. If they’re not disabled, they could usher America and the world much deeper into a dark and troubled era.

Read more about the amazing election-fraud drama unfolding in the USA…

So… I’d add this bullet item to the list:

  • Ensure honesty and integrity in the way we humans choose our leaders. If elections are used to select leaders (as opposed to managerial consensus as in places like China), control election integrity at the appropriate level, within the framework set up by higher levels. Most important in this case:  National elections need to be managed, monitored, and guaranteed at the national level… NOT at the state or provincial level… where there is much greater opportunity for cheating.

Those cheat-easy voting machines sitting ominously in Ohio, Virginia, Florida, and other key states… waiting to steal the next US presidential election… comprise (imho) the most critical and potentially destructive condition in the world today. If unstopped they will lead America and the world down a very dark, savage road this century… beginning as early as 2016.

Foster Nobility!

One theme runs through this series of articles like a thread, pulling everything together… and that is the fact that we’re noble-savage creatures on a noble mission to spread peace, love, and good will on Earth… but our savage side keeps getting in the way.

That has to be the closing note for this series: To fulfill our mission, we have to foster our noble qualities and to tame our savage side… and we have to do it at all levels of human affairs.

Fostering nobility at the personal level can move us toward inner peace and happy relationships.

Fostering nobility at the planetary level can move us toward contented societies and world peace.

Separating the Noble from the Savage

First we need a good understanding of our noble-savage nature… what it means to be noble… what it means to be savage.

“Noble,” as defined in my work, refers to the finer spiritual part of us that’s driven by love, trust, good will, and the desire to serve others selflessly.

“Savage” refers to carnal human qualities that help us survive in a rather savage world where life kills life to survive. Our worst savage qualities compel us to be fearful, suspicious, contemptuous, and aggressive.

We also have a lot of benign savage qualities that give us basic survival skills in a carnal world. Breathing, eating, procreating (sex), and healing from sickness and injury… these are all savage human qualities.

The best way to distinguish between the noble and the savage is to answer a simple question:

What qualities are present in the afterlife paradise worlds of light?

Those are noble human qualities: Love, trust, good will, desire to serve others selflessly…. Those qualities form our noble core as human beings.

Most of our other qualities were hard-wired into our carnal compositions long, long ago so that we could survive through hostile eras on Earth. List all of those qualities that help us survive the rigors of life on Earth, and you’ve got a snapshot of our savage side.

No Such Thing as a Noble War

There can’t be a “noble war” because conflict of any kind is savage… period. No exceptions. Even a debate or difference of opinion is savage.

Noble thoughts, noble words, and noble actions resonate in human affairs.

Savage thoughts, words, and actions cause dissonance.

Because of the savage qualities of life on Earth, war might sometimes be justifiable… even necessary… but it’s never noble.  War is always savage.

We need to stop romanticizing savage human behavior if it blurs the lines between noble and savage. Know savage behavior for what it is and accept it as part of our carnal make-up… but don’t think there’s anything noble or highly spiritual associated with it. There isn’t.

Basically, we have to do savage things to survive in a savage world… but the more we do that, the more difficulties we’ll have later on… as we try to get settled into a light afterlife paradise after we die and leave the Earth. If we attach ourselves too heavily to our savage qualities during our lifetime, our spirit will migrate to darker, more troubled realms after we die… where it will feel more “at home.”

It’s always best for us humans to exhibit our noble side as much as possible in our day-to-day lives. Better for those around us… better for ourselves… better for our destiny.

With that in mind, every human life and every human institution should center itself around a strong core of noble values… and those values should be manifested in the world through noble behavior.

People should know about the savage qualities of the world and the savage compulsions within them, and that education should probably begin in adolescence, when hormones start to rage.

People should understand the savage side of our human nature and know what kind and degree of savage behavior is appropriate.

Everyone and every group should maximize noble choices and noble living in the course of a day or a lifetime… resorting to savage behavior only when necessary.

Some Great Exercises

The body’s a vehicle for the finer self—the spirit within—during its Earth experience, and it’s good to keep the vehicle in fairly good shape. These 12 daily (or near-daily) exercises do the trick pretty well for me… along with some occasional aerobic exercise (hiking, biking, jogging, swimming, climbing stairs….).

I’ve been doing these simple exercises almost daily for the past decade or so… gradually adjusting and fine-tuning them over the years as I’ve chatted with physical therapists and fitness people. The 12 exercises below are what I’m doing lately (March, 2013). They take about a half-hour to complete when I do all 12 in one session… which is rare.

Yoga on the floor. I might do the six yoga exercises (dark figures) when I get home from work… or after I climb out of bed in the morning… or before climbing into bed at night. I always do the yoga-like exercises on the floor. These exercises keep my body limber and flexible.

!yoga

Isometrics in bed. I do the six isometric exercises (light figures) at any convenient time that I’m in bed… sometimes in the middle of the night when I wake up from a dream and can’t get right back to sleep, or sometimes during the day when I’m reading a book, or sometimes after I wake up in the morning. In any case, I always do the isometrics while lying in bed… the first three while lying on my back, and the other three while lying on my stomach with my toes hanging over the end of the bed. These are great exercises for keeping the body toned and looking fit.

!iso

-

Counting and breathing. I coordinate each of these exercises with my breathing while counting quietly in my head… one beat (1-2-3-4-5…) per second. The four active yoga exercises (#1, #2, #4, and #5) use a complete in-out breath every second or beat. I breathe only half as fast for all of the other (stretching-flexing) exercises… so that each in-breath takes about a second or beat, and each out-breath takes a beat, and a complete in-out breath takes about 2 seconds.

About Each Exercise

1. Spinner: The first one’s easy: Stand up and spin in a circle 25 times, about a spin per second.

01

-

2.  Neck and back stretch:  While kneeling, hands dropped to your side, shoulders relaxed: Move your hands behind you and grasp the first two fingers of one hand with the other hand. Chest out, head back, lean forward with back arched inward… then relax the arms and head on the floor with back arched outward. Then back up to original position. Do this 5 times, each time taking about 5 seconds and 5 complete breaths.

02

 -

3.  Leg lift and twist:  Lying down, raise one knee as shown, then drop it over the opposite leg, using the opposite hand to press the knee downward to the floor. Hold it for about 10 seconds. Do it 5 times with each leg.

03

-

4.  Crab:  Sit up with your legs together on the floor in front of you, put your palms down on the floor beside you, and look down at your navel. Then… raise your torso toward the sky and bend your head back so you’re looking behind you. Then return to the sitting position looking down. Do that 25 times… 25 complete breaths… 25 counts or beats… breathing out during the stretch, and breathing in toward the sitting position.

04

-

 5.  Straight-arm pushups:  Lying on your stomach, palms-down next to your chest, straighten your arms, pushing your torso up off the ground, so your body’s an inverted “V,” and look back under your body. Then… Keeping your arms straight, lower your body to the “cobra” position with knees and toes touching the floor and your eyes looking up at the ceiling, then return to the inverted “V” position. Do that 25 times… again, counting to 25 in about 25 seconds… breathing out during the downward motion, and in during the upward motion.

05

 -

6.  Leg-bicep stretch: Lie on the floor in a doorway (or next to the upright end of a wall or a square column or a tall, sturdy piece of furniture…) so that one hip is next to the upright corner. Lift the other leg—the outside one—cross it over the body so that the ankle catches on the corner. Use the inside arm to push on the knee to straighten the leg, and hold it for several seconds (anywhere from 6 seconds to 20 seconds), then relax by bending the knee for 4 seconds, then straighten and stretch again. Do the stretch-relax combination six to 12 times with each leg, until the leg feels well-stretched. Don’t overstretch and strain the muscle; you can “back up” away from the doorway or upright corner to lessen the stretch.

06

-

7.  Leg-bicep, shoulder flex:  Lying on your back in bed, raise the knees so that the feet are flat on the bed. Clasp your hands below the navel, then flex 1) the muscles in the shoulders and 2) the leg biceps. Hold it for about 25 seconds.

07

-

8.  Bicep, calf flex:  From the same position as the previous exercise, bend your elbows, then flex 1) the arm biceps (the front of the upper arms), and 2) the calves. Hold it for about 25 seconds.

08

-

9.  Forearm/wrist, ankle flex: Lying on your back, legs straight out, flex your forearms, wrists, and ankles, as follows:

For 8 seconds, bend the wrists forward, fists clenched, while turning the ankles inward, soles facing each other, toes wiggling.

For 8 seconds, bend the wrists backward with fists still clenched, while turning the ankles outward.

For 5 seconds, bend the wrists forward, hands open, while turning the ankles inward, soles facing each other, toes wiggling.

For 5 seconds, bend the wrists backward, hands open, while turning the ankles outward.

09

-

10.  Tricep, gluteus flex (i):  Lying on your stomach, head raised, legs extended, flex 1) the triceps (back of the upper arms) and 2) the backside. Hold it while counting silently to 25 for about 25 seconds… breathing in for one second then out for one second… each complete in-out breath taking about 2 seconds.

10

 -

11.  Lap, shoulder flex:  Still on your stomach, head raised, clasp your hands behind your back and raise them up, away from the body… and flex 1) the shoulder muscles and 2) the lap muscles (front of the upper legs). Hold it for about 25 seconds.

11

-

12. Neck, shoulder, lower-calf flex:  Still on your stomach, head raised, with hands clasped behind your back, flex 1) the shoulders and neck, and 2) the small area between the ankles and calves. This time press the hands downward into the back, putting more tension on your neck muscles. Hold it for about 25 seconds.

12

(Finally, as always, if you have any health issues, contact a physician or physical therapist before starting a new exercise regimen….)

More Modern-Day Epicycles

Interesting article in the NY Times this past week… about science, zombies, and consciousness, written by a  philosophy professor at Notre Dame university.

It’s more a philosophical essay than a scientific analysis, but it explains the dilemma involved in trying to fit mind and spirit into the modern scientific model.

Read here “Mary and the Zombies: Can Science Explain Consciousness?”

The essay, like science, looks at consciousness from the eyes of an objective outside observer… which could present an obstacle to understanding the mind.

I think we can get a much clearer understanding of consciousness through more subjective, more personal experiences such as meditation.

The more we learn through inner exploration, the more we move toward the Eastern  philosophy (and I’m talking way east of Notre Dame) that what really exists within consciousness (what people like me call “spirit” or “soul”) is the true reality… and that the material reality that we experience through the five physical senses here on Earth is the illusion, the “maya.”

Modern science, then, becomes little more than a concerted effort to measure maya… and to spin modern-day epicycles while trying to fit the grander picture of consciousness (spirit) into the constrained Newtonian model.

Hope that make sense!

ITC Gem 39: The Inside Story of the Afterlife

Editor’s note: In the landmark book Breakthroughs in Technical Spirit Communication, co-author Maggy Harsch-Fishbach of Luxembourg recalls in detail her miraculous rapport with spirit group Timestream… especially the spirit of late scientist Swejen Salter and ethereal being Technician. Maggy’s frank and inspiring recollections give some of the greatest understanding available in today’s world about the nature of the afterlife and the qualities necessary to foster a sustainable connection between this world and that… as indicated by this adaptation of Part 2 of her book about ITC (instrumental transcommunication), the use to technology to get in touch with the other side.

Read Part 2 of Maggy’s book in its entirety

Background. Swejen Salter was a scientist on planet Varid, one of Earth’s parallel physical worlds… each of which follow similar evolutionary paths with some variations. Societies on Varid, for example, evolved in a Dickensian way in which children were nurtured in large institutions by professional caregivers rather than in families… so that the noble-savage inconsistencies among parents didn’t pose the widespread problems that they do on Earth… where “sins of the father” are passed on from generation to generation to generation….

Read more about parallel worlds

Science on Varid was deeply involved in multidimensional research, especially ITC, unlike Newtonian science on modern Earth, which has blindfolded itself from the vast spiritual worlds that flourish with life all around us. Terrestrial science today is immersed completely in the illusory material world, whereas Varidian science was more integrated with spiritual reality.

This sci-fi-like scenario of many parallel worlds evolving separately like cages of lab animals under controlled conditions is just one of many mind-boggling insights into reality gleaned by Maggy Harsch-Fischbach through her other-worldly communications using ITC systems… and it provides the basis for her historic research.

Dr Swejen Salter died in an explosion on Varid in 1987 and was recruited in the afterlife to help Earth advance its multidimensional understanding. In Luxembourg at the same time, schoolteacher Maggy Harsch-Fischbach was attracted to ITC research while watching the TV show Unbelievable Stories being broadcast by RTL (Radio-Television Luxembourg).

A group of ethereal beings calling themselves “The Seven” were closely observing all of these scenarios. Like superhuman lab scientists, they were controlling some of the conditions in this multidimensional experiment involving many parallel physical worlds and their corresponding spiritual worlds. They put Swejen Salter in charge of Timestream spirit group, and they selected Maggy harsch-Fischbach as the first full-fledged ITC researcher on Earth, for whom a communication bridge would be opened, sustained, and protected by the ethereals.

The job of Swejen Salter at Timestream sending station would be to share information with Maggy Harsch-Fischbach in Luxembourg through the high-tech communication bridge being monitored and facilitated by The Seven,  especially the one calling himself “Technician.”

Maggy and Swejen often chatted on the phone like girlfriends, as Swejen coordinated the work of hundreds of people-in-spirit who all shared the desire to foster a connection with their loved ones back home on Planet Earth. Swejen and her spirit colleagues also talked through Maggy’s radio sounds, sent video images from the afterlife through her TV set, and planted files on her computer containing long messages and bit-mapped images. They even sent Maggy some FAXes!

In short, the doors were open wide, thanks largely to Technician, who described his assigned role as gatekeeper between heaven and earth.

Friendly, Insightful Dialogs

In one of her early computer messages to Maggy in the late 1980s, Swejen wrote:

I died at the age of 38 as the result of an accident. Death came suddenly and unexpectedly. I was totally unprepared and cannot remember my passing over. I awoke on a recliner in a cheerfully decorated room that I had never seen before. Before I could have a closer look around, a tall, imposing man entered the room and identified himself as Richard Francis Burton. He welcomed me and started showing me the world in which he had lived since the year 1890 of your Earth time. I felt happy and safe here. Everybody was friendly and helpful. Still, the change was difficult. It is not easy to adapt to a new life when one is torn away from a daily routine.

On one occasion, Swejen told Maggy:

Unfortunately I cannot and may not answer all your questions. Do not forget that I have to get permission for some of this information from higher beings.

On another occasion, Technician added:

Swejen Salter is being granted much freedom of information!

As Swejen got acclimated to her new afterlife surroundings, she reported to Maggy:

If you harbor bad intentions and thoughts you will not be here very long.

She explained that people who carry with them to the afterlife a lot of emotional baggage (earthly resentments, suspicions, fears, cravings…), and are unable to detach from the troubled thinking, might suddenly find themselves in darker, more confused surroundings for awhile, or reincarnate to Earth to try to work out the problems in another lifetime.

Spirit communication pioneer Konstantin Raudive, a Latvian psychologist, died in 1974 and also joined Timestream spirit group. In July 1986 he told Maggy:

On the third level of consciousness each of us individually will find ourself closer to our own true self. While on Earth I tried to be something other than my true self. Most people try to paint a picture of themselves other than what they really are. Today, on this world, I acknowledge my own true self more.

Swejen reported to Maggy that various deceased scientists were being drawn to ITC projects, including psychologist Karl Jung, Nikola Tesla, Guglielmo Marconi, Marie Curie and Albert Einstein.

When scientist Konrad Lorenz died in 1989, Swejen Salter reported his arrival at Timestream:

He (Lorenz) was transported to us in a magnificent ship surrounded by people. Imagine a Viking ship in which his (astral) body was brought to his destination. He is still in a state of sleep. But it can already be observed that his features and his body are changing and becoming more youthful. Lorenz will probably remain in this regenerative sleep for only a short time. The sleep duration varies from one individual to another. It is generally about six weeks of earth time. Some people need considerably less.

Maggy was told that she and Swejen Salter shared a certain spiritual resonance, and so did Konrad Lorenz, which enabled him also to communicate without too much trouble through Maggy’s ITC bridge.

Maggy recalled her contact with Konrad Lorenz, “Compared to others, who could no longer express themselves in their lifetime speech pattern, Lorenz seemed to have no problems putting his thoughts through a spirit apparatus and forming them into human language. As he spoke to me, his voice gradually lost the monotony of synthetic speech. Dialog became possible and I forgot that I was speaking to a “dead” one. I noticed that Lorenz rolled his “r” and spoke with an Austrian accent. He was very friendly, advised me to take notes, and spoke slowly and distinctly. He thanked me for the nice report I had written about him.”

Maggy was told on various occasions, by Swejen, Technician, and others, that the laws and principles in the spirit world were quite different from Earth, and information sent to our world had to be translated or polished into a context that could be understood by us terrestrial humans. If the information were delivered straight to our world in unfiltered form, it would seem bizarre and incomprehensible. Pictures from the astral worlds, for example, could be sent to us only if the images were earth-like enough for us to recognize.

That seems to be one of the main obstacles facing modern ITC research: the very limited understanding of us on Earth. Our multidimensional insensitivity filters out much of the information that could come into our world from beyond.

Another obstacle is our tendency to fall into negative thinking. A protected ITC bridge to finer realms can remain open only as long as there is a harmony of good feelings on both sides. Fears and animosities harbored by earth experimenters can attract troubled spirits into the situation. This is a problem our spirit friends have to contend with. Swejen Salter told Maggy in 1989:

Recently I have been very busy trying to avert negative influences. I am therefore avoiding contacts at present which could contribute to interference.

Successful ITC rests on the harmonic cooperation of the people involved. That harmony sets up a “contact field” of life energy conducive to close interaction by a spirit group. Then, when the factors of good will come together, miracles can unfold.

Around the year 1990, two annual conferences were to be held—a small ITC conference in Bad Muenstereifel, Germany, and a much larger PSI Days conference in Basel, Switzerland. Swejen Salter said the conditions (group harmony) at the smaller conference would be much conducive for a live ITC contact. Swejen:

I do not know yet if a contact attempt is possible in Basel. It is too early to tell. At present the timelines are not favorable…. Conditions are especially good for a contact in Bad Muenstereifel. At the moment they are better than for Basel. Many good and serious researchers will be going to Bad Muenstereifel. The participants are able to build a favorable contact field with which we can work. There is a general feeling of responsibility.

I shall try to adjust through you to the light bridge. Ask your co-workers for video pictures of the equipment! I shall attempt to enjoin the participants positively in their thoughts. At the time of contact seven higher beings will be present in the hall. One of them is in contact with the medium Mr Zoennchen. Another being is guiding the contacts of the Group Homes/Malkhoff in Rivenich… The Technician is one of the seven entities. They are depending on the harmonic cooperation of all humans. Their main technical sources of help will be the Light.

While you make the introduction I shall try to orient to you by your voice. During the experiment all doors should remain closed. Ask the audience not to use any photo flashes. There is a danger that the energy field may collapse. Regular picture taking or audio and video recording are allowed.

After a successful spirit contact at the Bad Muenstereifel conference, Swejen reported to Maggy by phone:

We made the same efforts that you made in your cooperation…. The harmony was great and contributed very much to accomplishing the contact. There was joy and satisfaction but also confusion. There was tension and stress while operating the equipment. A total of 57 transmission attempts through space and time were made! Only two arrived, one of them distorted, the other one was clearer. We do not know the exact outcome and hope at least a few sentences could be understood.

Heli Schaefer on our side tried to harmonize the spirit groups involved. We had a few complaints about some technical steps on your side which proved more of a handicap than a help. Do not forget the people here have only one advantage that you don’t have: They have crossed the threshold of eternity, while otherwise they are still very much like they were on earth. Some of them feel too much is expected of them during this period of bridge-building. Of course we do not suffer from exhaustion as you do, but we know the feeling of not getting any rest because so much remains to be done.

More Epicycles: Science and the Near-Death Experience

Scientists are still dancing around the afterlife… trying to make sense of it in Newtonian terms.

Yet another study of near-death experiences (NDEs)—based on interviews with people who’ve died briefly and recovered—explores neurochemical explanations for the tunnels, doorways, glowing light, departed loved ones, and other lucid experiences… and notes that the crystalline afterlife memories are often much more profound and transformative than our normal, day-to-day memories.

Read that Plos One report….

RainbowTunnel

This is one one many pictures you can see by googling “rainbow tunnel,” suggesting that many artists are inspired by an afterlife knowledge deep within. This photo was taken by TravelPod member misocutlet of Kuwana, Japan.
More here:

In a nutshell, the study published in Plos One concludes that about 5 percent of the general population and 10 percent of heart-attack victims report near-death experiences, yet no one really knows what they are… other than “flashbulb memories of really perceived hallucinations.”  Adding complications to the study is the fact that healthy people sometimes have similar experiences during meditation and when taking certain serotonin-mimicking hallucinogenic drugs.

Read a short history of hallucinogens….

Well, you and I know what NDEs really are. If you follow this blog you know that afterlife and the finer realms of spirit are the greater reality, while life on Earth is maya… illusion. That’s why, when our earthly blinders come down momentarily during an NDE or meditation, our glimpse of the other side is so lucid, so profound, and so life-changing.

Once we experience the greater afterlife reality and process it through our physical senses, our noble motivations take the steering wheel, guided by the finer spirit within, while our savage inclinations—fueled by hormones, ego, and our carnal composition—move to the back seat.

Another Great Movie: Chico Xavier

Here’s another wonderful afterlife movie from Brazil, currently viewable on youtube, with English subtitles:  the life of the Portuguese medium Chico Xavier.

View the subtitled Chico Xavier movie here…

Or watch below (click the [  ]  symbol at bottom right to view fullscreen)….

Like the other Spiritist movie I explored recently, Nosso Lar (The Astral City), the Xavier film can be seen freely at the moment… perhaps with a small window of opportunity. (It was just posted in the past few days, and it may or may not be removed soon from this link by the rights-holders.)

If removed from the free youtube site, the movie can be streamed from various other websites, for example…

(here…  here…  here…  and here…)

Not available on DVD

Be careful buying a DVD. Make sure it’s engineered for Region 1. The only DVDs of the Chico Xavier movie that I could find for sale online are in a format unsuitable for North America. (see international DVD format details)

In any case, if you haven’t seen the two-hour movie yet, you’re missing out on a moving, insightful experience!

About the movie

The film is an intimate portrait of the famous medium Chico Xavier, from his difficult childhood to his “disembodiment” at age 92… who wrote (through automatic writing) more than 400 books… all proceeds going to charitable causes.

Despite being taunted as a child as possessed, crazy, and a liar… being physically abused by his stepmother… and being assailed as a young man by a skeptical media and self-righteous Catholic priesthood, Chico Xavier led a life of love and enlightenment. His countless channeled messages from departed loved ones and healings of people suffering physically, emotionally, and spiritually were performed freely.

This all comes to light in the moving film, a poignant drama suffused with spiritual insights that Chico received through an intimate rapport with his spirit guide, Emmanuel.

Unlike the movie Nosso Lar, Chico Xavier has few special effects, other than a glimpse of ethereal impressions spinning in his head. It’s a down-to-earth film with an other-worldly backdrop.

Are You an Extrovert or an Introvert?… Me? Well….

$

Do you feel more comfortable on the left side or the right side of this table (adapted from thesaurus.com)?

Extroverted

Introverted

outgoing, congenial, cordial, demonstrative, friendly, gregarious, personable, sociable, social, unreserved reserved, bashful, cautious, collected, cool, demure, introspective, modest, quiet, restrained, shy, soft-spoken, solitary

Or, better yet, you can take a simple test to determine how outgoing or introspective you are. Just answer 20 true-false questions, tally the results, and voila!… you know where you fit in this world of extroverts and introverts.

The test, and a book on which it’s based, were written by a remarkable young woman named Susan Cain. Susan’s an introvert… (though her poise during a recent TED presentation wouldn’t suggest it!)

Take the Susan Cain test

Me? I’m heavily introverted (18 points out of 20 on her test). Always have been. As a kid, the thought of making eye contact with someone—anyone—terrified me. I always looked at the ground while standing or walking… which limited my aspirations as a basketball player.

The gag is that you can determine that an introvert likes someone if he looks at the other person’s shoes instead of his own.  :-)  That may be a bit of stretch, but it’s not far off.

“Painfully shy” is how one teacher described me.

“Inferiority complex” was a common term in the 1950s psychology… and I fit the diagnosis well.

I’ve been reading the Susan Cain book, Quiet (thanks to wife Regina, who selected it for her book club), and it puts a lot into perspective as I reflect on my life… and on the world.

In particular, my introversion explains a lot about my work in ITC and afterlife research… my theories about spiritual reality… my view of human beings as noble-savage creatures in a noble-savage world… my belief in a politics of good will… my struggle with public presentations and group efforts (including the miraculous INIT association that I helped establish late last century)….

Init95

Founding members of INIT, the International Network for Instrumental Transcommunication, 1995 (l-r): Mark Macy (usa), Tony Broad (gbr), Hans Luethi (che), Jules Harsch (lux), Irma Weisen (fin), Juliet Hollister (usa), Sonia Rinaldi (bra), Theo Locher (che), Maggy Harsch-Fischbach (lux), Guenther Emde (deu), Nils Jacobson (swe), Fritz Malkhoff (deu), Claudius Kern (aut), Ralf Determeyer (deu), Jonathan Marten (gbr).

In short, understanding introversion helps me understand why I look at the world the way I do… and why the bulk of my research today revolves around my writing, and no longer around public presentations and interviews and hands-on international collaboration.

Before I babble on about myself, though, here’s a bit more about introversion and extroversion as described in Susan Cain’s book. In a nutshell:

Around the year 1900, as the clamor of the Industrial Revolution was energizing the western world, a new kind of leader rose to the helm… the extreme extrovert. Electricity, indoor plumbing, assembly lines, and electronic communications were transforming society, which (especially here in the States) evolved from a “culture of character,” led by quiet, reflective people (think Abe Lincoln), to a “culture of personality,” led by out-going, confident salesmen and self-promoters (think Tony Robbins). Through most of the 20th Century, introverts have felt pressure from parents, teachers, psychologists, and bosses to break out of their shells or lose out on life’s rewards. Even admissions people at stoic Ivy League colleges began to desire team players and hobnobbers over bookworms and intellectuals. Business schools today revolve around a culture of intense fraternization that sucks the life out of an introvert. Publishers no longer want bright, introspective authors unless they can puff up and promote their books.

In short, the past century in the USA, and throughout much of the western world, has been a golden age of the extrovert… the self-promoter… the networker. Quiet people typically have had a harder time making a ripple in society. Studies cited in Susan’s book have found that members of groups listen to loud, self-assured members with limited knowledge before they listen to soft-spoken members who are certified experts.

A Noble-Savage Parallel?

My first inclination while reading Quiet was to assume that if we could unravel the noble from the savage in human culture, the introverts would be among the noble and the extroverts would be among the savage.

Faulty thinking on my part, I soon realized.

Qualities of noble behavior include friendliness, congeniality, and cooperation, so in terms of sociability, the extroverts lean more toward the noble side than do their brooding, introspective peers.

On the other hand, conflict is a savage human behavior, and while introverts typically shun conflict, many extroverts thrive in it… so in terms of conflict, extroverts lean more toward the savage side.

It seems that the qualities of noble human behavior, such as love, trust, good will, and the desire to serve others selflessly, are spread out among introverts and extroverts. And so are the qualities of savage human behavior—fear, mistrust, vengeance, craving, greed….

So there seems to be no direct correlation between the introvert-extrovert scale in human affairs and the noble-savage scale that’s evolved from my afterlife research.

The Boon of the Blog

The modern blog is one of the sweetest fruits society has ever produced for the introverts among us. We can work quietly from the privacy of our homes, collecting our ideas, focusing our thoughts, and putting them “out there” with a press of the “Publish” button. We can go the extra distance to promote and publicize our blog with search engine optimization and email blasts if we want to, but it’s not in our nature to do that… nor is it necessary.

Fact is, we don’t really care how widely our message gets spread among the public. We simply have this information that we know has to be made available. Even if we know deep-down that it’s vital information that will someday transform the world (as in the case of ITC research or the “Vitality Ratio”), we don’t really care if it becomes mainstream next week, next year, or long after we’re dead. Our only compulsion is to make it available so that it can germinate when the time is right.

The rewards for our efforts—name recognition, monetary gain…—aren’t as important to most introverts as they are to many extroverts. Granted, to see our own efforts exploited for personal gain by others is unsettling, but it’s an ego thing… an unavoidable part of the savage side of our carnal composition. And, fortunately, society has certain built-in legal mechanisms to protect people from exploitation.

Calling Earth… a Landmark Afterlife Documentary

Congratulations to California filmmaker Dan Drasin, who’s produced (imho) the best technical documentary to date on spirit communication and the afterlife.

The title: Calling Earth.

Dan explores the phenomenal history of technical spirit communication (from the work of Friedrich Juergenson and Konstantin Raudive) to the awe-insipring results of contemporary researchers including Marcello Bacci (Italy), Ernst Senkowski (Germany),  and Maggy Fischbach in Luxembourg.

Maggy isn’t shown in the film, even though I’m convinced that her results are unequivocally the best in the world. Having worked closely with her for a number of years, I’m sure that the miraculous contact field that opened up for Maggy (and which was used by our spirit friends to place phone calls to me and to various other researchers on both sides of the Atlantic) was made possible largely by the fact that she’s a very private, highly sensitive woman. She’s learned over the years that opening oneself up to the noble-savage soup of human emotions, especially the contempt of crusading skeptics, fouls-up the contact field and weakens the resulting communications from beyond. So… in case you’re wondering why “the Luxembourg group” doesn’t show up, even in good films like this one… that’s why.

The film also looks closely, here in the States, at the Butlers, Sarah Estep, and the EVP moms collaborating as “The Big Circle,” a name coined by their departed children.

This is a great film!… and it lasts about an hour.

Happy viewing!… and, again, thanks Dan!

Rewriting the DSM, the Bible of Psychiatry

The fifth edition of the psychiatrists’ bible—the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM)— is coming out this month. The changes involve minor tweaking of terms and definitions that have always been rather elusive and malleable… pertaining to the diagnosis of mental disorders—depression, autism, bipolar, and so on.

-books

Read more about the DSM updates….

One complaint about the DSM has always been that disorders have been defined more by consensus among psychiatrists than by objective measurement of symptoms under laboratory conditions.

So… many people—patients as well as health professionals—yearn for a new and transformative DSM that would get more to the neurological, chemical and biological bedrock of symptoms and causes of mental disorders.

With that in mind, this is an excellent opportunity to begin to introduce spiritual influences into psychology and psychiatry—specifically, the presence of many invisible spirits flourishing among us physical humans and their effects on our thoughts and feelings.

Read more about those spiritual influences….

It’s just a matter of time before spiritual realities are tossed into the omelet we call modern science, and this could be an opportunity to start cracking the egg.

Life After Death Project… a Film By Paul Davids

Good afterlife documentaries are rare here in the States. When two are released in the same year, that’s big news!

This could be the year.

A couple of weeks ago I shared a rough cut of Dan Drasin’s landmark film, Calling Earth, which examines technical spirit communication with a focused, analytical eye… and which is close to completion.

Another film is scheduled for release soon… The Life After Death Project, by Paul Davids… and a short introductory trailer was posted this week.

I’ll include below some links to the two films and their producers, and to the new trailer. But first, let’s talk about this latest film by Paul Davids.

First I should warn you that the biggest surprise you’re likely to see in Paul’s trailer is the segment with me in it, which gets a little spooky… and I’ll explain in a moment what I think is happening with the gas-like emissions, shape-shifting and other distortions. Meanwhile….

Paul’s film seems to be geared (moreso than Dan’s film) to the general public and mainstream market, for various reasons:

  • It revolves loosely around a central plot, which is the life and possible afterlife activities of one Forrest J Ackerman, an avid writer, editor, agent, and researcher of sci-fi literature and monster movies. Ackerman was an atheist during lifetime, but apparently changed his tune in the afterlife. Paul Davids presents evidence that Ackerman has been busy since his death in 2008, creating strange anomalies in our world. Many of the interviews in the film are used to support that idea, while lending some insight in the nature of the spirit worlds and how they interplay with our world. (The weird goings-on during my interview might be a case in point.)
  • The film is drawn more toward spooky anomalies (troubled spirits, bumps in the night….) than to serious spiritual influences on our world (inspiration, meaningful communications, loving transworld connections, our ancient spiritual heritage and paradise destiny….), and this bias toward the dark side is typical of mainstream films. It stirs hormones and attracts an audience.
  • The film includes a wide spectrum of interviewees—nurses, doctors, filmmakers, scientists, afterlife researchers, psychic mediums, NDE survivors, and others with strange stories to share.
  • A token skeptic is included in the film in the name of “fair and balanced reporting,” a principle that originated in early journalism to promote objective reporting… but has evolved into something of a festering tumor in the body of modern journalism. The traditional mainstream media today (CBS, NBC, ABC, daily newspapers…)  often insist on dissenting views in the reports they publish. A recent example of how objective journalism has evolved into a media sickness is global warming. Though it is accepted as reality by more than 90 percent of climate scientists, mainstream reports about global warming usually give equal voice to a few loud, vocal detractors, who are often funded by energy companies and far-right political groups that choose to be in denial of the historic dangers posed by global warming, usually for financial, religious, and political purposes. In the case of afterlife reporting, decades of serious research can be undermined, negated and neutralized in a few seconds of film footage by the shallow comments of one or two skeptics.

All that said, Paul Davids’s film is inventive, fascinating, and enjoyable, and I think it’s something the public could enjoy… and learn from.

So… here’s the 8-minute trailer to Paul’s film:

And here’s what might be happening during my segment, which begins about 6 minutes into the trailer. First, there’s an emanation of spiritual substance (ectoplasm) from my hands. Then, the spirit group present at the event tries hard to open the veil between our world and theirs in a way that will manifest on digital recording media… not an easy feat! The result is a melting-away of physical structure, especially my body. The strangest part is the last few frames, in which my face morphs into something kind of freaky… which (yeah, I suppose it’s possible) the spirit team could indeed have planned in honor of Mr Ackerman. Why me? If the above scenario is correct, then maybe the spirit group involved that day figures that I understand the spirit worlds (and the playful nature of some of our spirit friends) well enough to see the humor in this kind of thing without being ‘spooked.’   :-)

This, of course, is speculation that makes sense to me based on 20+ years of afterlife research, especially ITC.

Other people will certainly have other speculations about those anomalies (most notably, pixel distortion due to flawed recording media)… but I’d be leery of any views that are expressed with “certainty”… as certainty in cases like this often reflect an overcompensation for insecurity.

The Illusion of Time from Ethereal Eyes… What I Learned from ITC (7)

Editor’s note: This is a fictional piece based on facts shared by our ethereal friends, “The Seven,” through various ITC contacts… how they view our world to get a bearing of our position in time and physical space. I’m sure my interpretation here is over-simplified, but hopefully it’s close enough to afford us a better view of how they see our material realm from their timeless perspective, and the challenges they face in locating us. This is the first In a short series of articles about the illusory nature of time.

So here I am, an ethereal being observing millions of years of Earth history… farther removed from you humans than you are from insects with lifespans measured in days.

From here, time in your world looks something like a river.

river9b-stretch

We have a pretty clear view of your past flowing into your present, though the future is a bit clouded…

river6aStretch

… meandering with some uncertainty through the woods toward various fields of possibility.

Stepping back for a broader perspective, we can see your world at critical moments in history, branching off into tributaries that you would call parallel worlds.

river01stretch

Parallel worlds may seem like science fiction to many of you, as you observe life from just one of those worlds… but we can see them all clearly, like rivers flowing in the same general direction.

For instance, there is another Earth flourishing in a parallel universe in which Adolf Hitler never came to power in Germany, and world society is currently evolving on that planet differently than on yours.

Someday you might be able to communicate and collaborate with your human counterparts in the various parallel physical worlds of your Earth. You have already begun such interactions with nonphysical beings such as us and with our mutual friends in the astral worlds. You have done this through ITC.

As your science evolves to embrace the living beings flourishing at many dimensional levels that are currently invisible to your scientists, then time and space will lose much of its illusory nature. Many of the individual tributaries of human evolution will come together into the greater ocean of life that awaits you all.

Many of us anticipate that inevitable reunion with the Earth and its parallel worlds, especially those “departed” humans now residing in the astral afterlife worlds who choose to foster heart connections with their loved ones still alive on Earth.

Next installment: The flow of time as seen from the astral worlds….

.

What I Learned from ITC, the series:

1 Being sensitive in a harsh world
2 Controlling emotions
3 Leaving the family of man
4 How spirits navigate time and space
5 Hardships heighten the human experience
6 To establish a bridge

So here I am, an astral being, who has completed another lifetime on Earth, “died” recently, and now find myself getting settled into a paradise community here on the “third human level,” sometimes called the mid-astral plane. I’ve joined the Timestream spirit group, which is dedicated to opening ITC communication bridges with you who still inhabit our former home world. Not an easy task!… as I’ll try to explain in this report.

One of the more difficult adjustments I have to make in my new life is to observe time just passing here in a world that changes little. Nearly all of us remain at the prime of life in the peak of health. The flowers and trees that bring beauty and majesty to our world have flourished here as long as anyone can remember. They don’t wither and die… and they seem to have a living rapport with the sandy soil that prevents the encroachment of weeds. There’s no competition here among the people or the animals or the plants; harmony is a way of life.

When I observe my loved ones on Earth (we have equipment here to help us “down-modulate” into denser bodies in order to get closer to your world and to see things there more clearly), time seems like a bodily substance. (Very strange!) Your bodies seem to morph in the process of aging… bound as you are to the illusion of time.

We sometimes decide to take a step closer and actually visit you on Earth. We might “drop by” the house where we’d spent so many happy years in lifetime. This is especially true of people like me who recently died and are drawn to our grieving family members. We also feel a “pull” to that comfortable home with all of its familiar furnishings.

My new friends here, who are involved in various ITC projects, take similar trips to the homes and labs of the researchers on Earth with whom they’ve fostered a close working friendship. They set up their light, spiritual equipment right alongside your dense radios, computers, and other equipment… all invisible to you, of course.

These trips into your world are almost always facilitated by ethereal beings (and occasionally with the modulating equipment I mentioned earlier), as it’s easy for us in the astral worlds to “get lost” when we start traveling among vibratory levels. It involves concentration and knowledge beyond our mental faculties… so our safe travels depend on the permission and assistance of those we sometimes call the “Rainbow people.” They can either observe and facilitate our journeys through the modulating equipment (in which case they forge a tunnel that pulses in rainbow colors and through which we travel to a particular time and location in your word), or they can actually accompany us on our journeys. In the latter case, blessed be the researchers, whose homes and labs are instantly filled with love and light the moment we arrive!

I’ve heard a lot of strange stories from my colleagues here about these journeys… and the challenges they’ve faced in pinpointing the desired time and location. In one case, the team wanted to console a grieving researcher on Earth sitting beside her father, who was dying in a hospital bed. The team emerged from a tunnel in a parallel world of Earth, in which the researcher had a different shade of hair and body type. It was the same woman, the same father, and the same hospital… but the wrong world! They had to re-enter the tunnel and try again… and again… until they found the right time and location.

The ethereals take these complications for granted; such is the nature of reality. To us, the situation is a bit strange and sometimes frustrating. To you, of course, it’s incomprehensible in a sci-fi kind of way. :-)

That’s the reason why the ethereals initially called our joint ITC work “Project Kindergarten.” There’s so much for you (also for us!) to learn before effective bridges can be established. It was truly an honor when we—your INIT research group and our Timestream spirit group—were all upgraded in 1997 to “Project Sothis,” a name that reflected the wisdom at the height of the First Epoch, in the closing years of Atlantis. (Sothis had been a temple near modern-day Baghdad, centuries before the rise of Babylon, where a panel of priests were in close contact with The Seven ethereals… involved in a project to open a space-time bridge.)

Before I get lost in a literary cul-de-sac, I’ll return to the river analogy used by our ethereal friends in the previous article… in an effort to give you a simpler idea how we contend with the big challenge of navigating time. (Why do you think our spirit group calls ourselves Timestream?)

While the ethereals can see a broad overview of the river of time and its vast expanse, we in the astral worlds can see only a small portion of the river… that is, the section of the river where you happen to be. We can see a little downstream (into the past) and maybe a bit upstream (into the future)… but the larger river with its many tributaries is beyond our view.

riverB1-stretch

We’re more up-close and intimate with your flow of time than the ethereals are, though we’re not a part of it. We can see the rough rapids… times of fear, animosity and conflict in your lives. We can see the smooth, gentle currents in times of peace and contentment in your world.

When we immerse ourselves into the flow of time to get close to your world, our spirit bodies take on a density and we begin to feel some of the roller-coaster emotions that we’d experienced during our lifetimes… the feelings that you take for granted as a part of “being human.” To us it’s an unsettling sensation, and we always look forward to our return home to a finer world of spirit… a world of harmony.

The Illusion of Time from Dismal Eyes… What I Learned from ITC (9)

Editor’s note: This is a third fictional piece based on factual reports delivered through ITC contacts by people in spirit. These particular contacts address the more troubled realms, what I call the “dismal” worlds… sometimes called purgatory or the lower-astral planes. Spirits at this level are often caught up in the confused illusion of time and space.

So here I am, a dismal being… a name that, frankly, I find a little offensive. Life here isn’t all that “dismal,” really… at least it doesn’t seem that way to most of us. Millions of people in this world are involved in countless diverse “life styles”… some of which you on Earth might regard as rather bizarre… and, yes, dismal. But, then, it’s true of any “alien” culture that life styles often seem a little other-worldly.

Sure, there are those here who are trapped in tormented, hellish surroundings—folks who made some really bad choices during lifetime—but it’s a comparatively small number.

And sure, compared to those realms of light (many of us have at least some awareness of those paradise astral worlds and ethereal realms that are somehow beyond our grasp) things may seem to be a little unruly here. After all, we’re closer to your world in vibration, and so many of us are still immersed in terrestrial dramas.

Using the river metaphor of the previous articles, I guess you could say we live on the banks of the rapids. When we immerse ourselves in your illusion of time (and many of us do it often), it can be a pretty wild ride!

Here is a cross-section of reports from people at this level to give you an idea of what our lives are like.

  • At the hellish end of the spectrum are folks like Rudolf Hoess, commandant of the Auschwitz death camp during World War II. Tormented by remorse over his responsibility for the extermination of thousands of Polish Jews, Hoess was hanged for war crimes in 1947 and awakened in a spirit-world gas chamber with 65,000 of his victims amid cries, screams, and the death rattle of children… all blinded by ash and desperate for salvation. Fifty-six years of unrelenting, unimaginable horror, you may be thinking! Well, it’s not like that here. Yes, Rudolf is suffering, as are many of his victims. But it is not a long, drawn-out condition here as it would be in your world. It is simply a condition in which they are living at the moment. Well-executed prayers and forgiveness from your side could (and will someday) free them all instantly. Read more about Rudolf’s experience…
  • A great example of the illusory nature of time is the case of “Old Lucy,” an Australopithicus human who died 3.5 million years ago in Ethiopia. She’s still alive here in spirit, and she’s ostracized for her crazy behavior… but she’s really just lonely and desperately seeking loving feelings. Aren’t we all! Read more about Lucy’s fossils… and (at the end of the following link) her afterlife experience…
  • Lucy’s case was introduced to you, through ITC equipment of Adolf Homes in Germany, by Majo the Shaman, another interesting character over here, whom we believe was a Mongolian medicine man in 1283 Samarkand (a city in what today is called Uzbekistan). Since his death Majo (along with his followers) has become quite proficient at navigating through our world and interacting with your world. For what he lacks in tact, he compensates with a degree of wisdom. On one occasion he told your researcher Homes, “Many conscious minds come together in transparent, overlapping (and for you rather bizarre) predispositions that simply and plainly bring every contact with mind/spirit about. Your “normal” physical senses unfortunately are no longer in a position to do it, for the eyes are blind, the ears are deaf, and the mind benumbed (by material living, and so) we have little influence on your space-time make-up and structure.Read more about Majo the Shaman…
  • Another group over here that likes to make an impact on your world calls itself “Group 2109,” which relates to the year in your (“future”) world. You can tell they are from our (“dismal”) world by the arrogant, condescending quality of some of their ambiguous information. In one message to your researcher Homes, for example, they say, “Here 2109 to humans – you fools – elements claim reimbursement – viruses penetrate matter – beginning in Britannia – help not possible – an eye for an eye – forward to 4.11.22 Hamburg – Please take notification seriously – 2109 –jkyrdcbmjuhrtedcvv… contact interrupted.”Read more about Group 2109…
  • Group 2109 also choreographed the strange spirit communications to Ken Webster. You may recall that Ken’s the school teacher in Chester, England, who received messages on his computer in old English, from a spirit fellow named Thomas Harden, also known as Lukas Wainman. Harden (Wainman) had lived in the same house in Chester some four centuries earlier, in 1543, and was something of a criminal, under close scrutiny by the local sheriff. When he died, he remained stuck in the house… watching time pass by quickly around him as homeowners came and went over the years. Ken and his mediumistic girlfriend Debbie began to renovate the old house in 1984, and that’s when the “ghost” of Tom Harden began to get a little irked. In one computer message he said, “I wryte on behalthe of manye. Wot strange words thou speke… Thou art goodly man who hath fanciful woman who dwel in myne home… with lytes whiche devyll maketh. ‘Twas a greate cryme to hath bribed (stolen) myne house. L.W.”  Read more about Thomas Harden’s experiences through Ken Webster…
  • Yet another group over here calls itself FDL (Foederation des Lichtes, or Federation of the Light), whose information sometimes comes across on your side as rather bizarre and unsettling. I’m told that beings from the finer realms—Spirit Group Timestream and The Seven Ethereals, for example—go to great lengths to refine the information delivered to your world in a way that the messages are insightful, uplifting, and reassuring. Not so with the groups in my world, such as Majo’s group, Group 2109, and FDL. As I said, we tend to get caught up in your drama. :-)  Anyway, it’s FDL that choreographed a series of contacts from the spirit of a Greek woman named Konstantina Gilaidos, who claims to have died a horrible death in 1953 when US warships launched nuclear weapons on Greece. As you’re aware, no such attack occurred in your Earth history… but apparently the experiences are real to Konstantina. Whether her memory is of a life in a parallel world of Earth?… or something that “is yet to happen” in your future?… or simply the mischievous humor of our spirit groups?… again, the illusory nature of time and space is often difficult to pin down. Read more about the experiences of Konstantina Gilaidos…
  • And… talking about mischievousness… let’s close this article with a couple of cases reported in Germany in the 1980s. The “Chopper case” involves a dentist (Dr Bachseitz) and his pretty, young, sensitive dental assistant, Claudia Judenmann. The rasping, guttural voice of a man in spirit calling himself “Chopper” was emitted from the sinks and toilet bowls in the dentist’s office. The voice was often so loud that patients fled the office and passersby were terrified. The voice sometimes broke into telephone conversations or impinged itself silently on Claudia’s mind with sexual requests, promises, stupid jokes, and obscenities. The spirit is probably someone who was associated with the building during lifetime and is unaware that he died. Read more about the Chopper case here… and here….
  • Phone conversations between Manfred Boden and his girlfriend Ursula were often interrupted by spirit voices. The spirits at first weren’t malicious, but polite. They’d chide Manfred for his heavy drinking. Eventually the spirits became more mischievous, and they began to come through his computer with short text messages, for example: “I am here, you will die, Manfred, 1982 accident August 16, 1982. Yours, Klaus.” The supposed date of death came and went without incident, but both Boden and his girlfriend were badly unsettled by the spirits that got involved in the dramas of their lives. Read more about the experiences of Manfred Boden’s spirit intruders…

Editor’s note: After writing this article I realized I’d made a mistake in how I characterized some of the spirit groups mentioned above. The next article is a correction. Read that correction…
